Project Coordinator

Position Description
This position will be responsible for coordinating the necessary activities to execute residential disaster recovery projects in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment. This position will require a high level of autonomy requiring a dynamic individual to manage a “cradle to grave” cycle of execution including communication and collaboration with impacted homeowners, subcontractors, high-ranking government officials, and all points in between while maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, and integrity.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the project management team in planning, organizing, and executing construction projects.
- Assist with project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project status reports.
- Coordinate project meetings and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Maintain project files, including drawings, permits, and relevant documentation.
- Monitor project schedules and provide regular updates to the project management team.
- Assist in budget tracking and cost analysis for projects.
- Facilitate effective communication between project team members and clients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project management best practices.
- Perform site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or related construction roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate project needs, including occasional evening or weekend work as required.
- This is an on-site position; candidates must be able to work at project locations and travel as needed.
