Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage all of our projects, from farm and field, to warehouse projects. The project Manager will be responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic initiatives and projects to achieve the organization's business objectives from inception to completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, optimize operations, and enhance the organization's competitive positioning in the market. This role requires strong leadership, engineering and analytical skills, purchasing/procurement knowledge, and the ability to translate senior management strategic vision into actionable plans and improvement projects. Lead the organization’s competitive improvement and revenue enhancing projects and provide direction to any assigned individuals, contractors, or vendors, in any environment, that supports the Lucky Star Marketing Operational efficiency initiatives. Ensures a data-driven and results oriented approach supports and results in a successful execution of the company strategic project improvement objectives. Organize and manage workload, processes, or physical objects and spaces.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion.
  • Utilize project management methodologies such as SAFe, PMBOK, and lean principles to drive project success.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Manage project budgets and implement cost control measures.
  • Develop and implement program development strategies to achieve project milestones.
  • Utilize tools like Version One for effective project tracking and reporting.
  • Facilitate conflict management and resolution among team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen methodologies. -
  • Monitor project progress and performance.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project leadership and management roles.
  • Experience with land entitlement process and real estate.
  • Permit and zoning experience .
  • Background in purchasing.
  • Electrical, concrete, and construction background.
  • Strong negotiation skills to handle various project stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with Cost control techniques and strategies.
  • Knowledge of conflict management principles to address team dynamics.
  • Understanding of lean methodologies for efficient project delivery.
  • Proficiency in utilizing tools like Version One for project tracking.
  • Experience working with PMBOK standards for project management excellence.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem- solving abilities. - Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
  • Experience in agriculture setting is a plus.
  • Strong technical and mechanical skill sets required.
  • BILINGUAL IN SPANISH REQUIRED

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
