Quality Assurance Analyst (Real Estate) - Independent Contractor

Overview
Asset Val, Inc. is a family-run company in business since 1995, that provides real estate valuation products to numerous financial institutions throughout the United States. Asset Val has an immediate opening for a for a Quality Assurance Analyst Independent Contractor to review Broker Price Opinions to ensure they meet our clients’ quality standards. Working with real estate professionals across the country to construct strongly supported property valuations, the primary job function of a Quality Assurance Analyst is to thoroughly analyze each BPO to ensure its quality, accuracy, and integrity. The work schedule is flexible and dependent upon volume fluctuations. Pay sale is approximate, as work is paid by completed orders and may vary by individual.
Responsibilities

Ensure each BPO meets quality standards and requirements, outlined by the client.
Facilitate the completion of strongly supported valuations.
Reconcile variances in value from previous BPOs.
Handle details and assignments of a confidential nature.
Follow up on orders that did not meet quality standards.
Improve vendor relations through outstanding customer service.

Skills

Demonstrates ability to reconcile conflicting opinions to arrive at a credible value conclusion.
Strong ability to recognize small details (proofreading).
Excellent time management skills.
Must be able to work with limited direction and/or supervision.
Must be able to think critically in time-urgent situations.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Must be able to act proactively and independently to resolve issues.
Must have the ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
Must be resourceful, reliable, responsive, flexible, organized and detail oriented.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-years experience in the real estate industry as an appraiser, underwriter or real estate agent/broker.
Must provide your own computer with dual monitors
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products and modern internet browsers
