Quality Assurance Specialist

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support projects and initiate solutions to discrepancies/issues with data review, inspection, SOPs and other quality related items, supporting the Discovery Sciences business unit.
- Provide some support in maintaining department QA systems (e.g., prepares inspection checklists and reviews SOPs).
- Demonstrate quality work and attention to regulatory requirements (GLP and c GMP).
- Perform inspections/audits and produce QAU reports, both
- Work according to defined task timelines and schedules.
- May assist in providing training on regulations for departments supported by QA.
- Take entry level training courses in functional area.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work well with others. Ability to listen and communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work individually and as a part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s level degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Toxicology or related scientific field and at least 3 year of directly related experience
- Demonstrated expertise working with MS Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of analytical techniques, including but not limited to chromatography.

Experience working in one or more of the following environments;
- ISO
- Natural Products
- Botanical
- Regulatory inspection experience supporting FDA or EPA clients.
