Real Estate Accountant

We’re hiring a detail-oriented accountant to join our expanding real estate team! You’ll reconcile accounts, keep track of accounts payable and receivable, and organize all our financial records. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating order out of chaos and wants to see the impact their job makes on a daily basis. Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed reconciliations for each account to ensure every transaction is accounted for
Review accounts payable and receivable everyday to make sure invoices and expense reports are accurate
Ready our books for monthly and quarterly reports
Communicate with all vendors, partners, and staff regarding payments and financial records to ensure bills are paid promptly
Input records into the computer to make sure financial data is filed accurately

Qualifications:

Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software
Familiar with GAAP
Proficient in property management software, such as Yardi
A background in accounting or finance is valuable, but not required
Able to write to and speak with vendors and clients effectively

Accounting experience is required.
