What you’ll do:

• Manage food, beverage and single use item shipments on a daily basis
  
• Sign for shipments upon receipt of deliveries that are unloaded from incoming trucks
  
• Make sure contents are inspected to ensure they are not damaged, and that packages are verified according to orders and invoices
  
• Maintain support documentation for all billed invoices.
  
• Work closely with the Culinary and Front of House teams to regularly check inventory levels and report when orders need to be placed
  
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control
  
• Assist with resolving shipment problems in a timely manner
  
• Quick thinking and problem resolution ability
  
• 1+ years of beverage receiving experience in the restaurant industry preferred
  
• Flexible availability
  
• A strong sense of urgency
  
• Basic computer skills
  
• Familiarity with working with invoices/purchase orders
  
• Systematic and organized with high attention to detail
  
• Must be able to read, write and understand simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English
  
• Must be able to do simple mathematical calculations, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and computing percentages and ratios
  
• Ability to sit, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
  
• The employee may be required to travel to other floors using stairs multiple times during shift.
  
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, squat, kneel, and reach above shoulder level.
  
• *This receiving position will be employed in a high-volume bar and restaurant. No operating of heavy machinery is required in this role.*
