Duties and responsibilities
- Check in drivers at the Shipping Office window and print the Bill of Lading
- Print and fax or email the truck companies’ daily schedules
- Coordinate and direct customer service
- Coordinate the shipment of product to both domestic and international customers
- Courteously and professionally answer and direct all incoming phone calls to appropriate parties
- Keep records of all shipments in an organized manner
- Enter purchase orders manually if needed
- Resolve customer/order issues quickly and efficiently if capable
- Resolve any and all trucking company shipment issues if possible
- Communicate all problems encountered to the appropriate departments/personnel
- Organize and retain records of CG Roxane’s recycling program
- Scan all proofs of delivery into the database for quick and easy access by the accounting department
- Create forms and spreadsheets as needed for record keeping
- Make delivery appointments for loads that require them
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Learn/train and safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks
- Assist Shipping Department with loading trucks whenever the need demands it
- Manage warehouse organization and tidiness
- Assist with any other duties the Plant Manager assigns
- All other duties as assigned
Salary: $19.50
