Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Spanish Translator for the JIS Fall Show—the largest jewelry trade event—taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from October 6th to 8th, 2024. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, real-time translation and interpretation services for exhibitors, buyers, and event organisers, ensuring seamless communication between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking participants.
Key Responsibilities:
● Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation (English to Spanish and Spanish to English) during presentations, business meetings, and on-the-floor discussions between jewellery vendors and buyers.
● Facilitate smooth communication between Spanish-speaking international buyers and exhibitors.
● Assist in negotiations and sales discussions where clear communication is critical.
● Work closely with the event organisers to ensure all language needs are met throughout the event.
Requirements:
● Fluent in both Spanish and English (Spoken).
● Residing in/near or able to travel to Miami Beach Convention Centre, Florida, United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Strong ability to manage multiple translation tasks and assist with both verbal and written communication.
● Sales experience will be preferred.
Compensation:
Compensation will be provided on the hourly basis.
Range:20-30 $ per hour
