Responsibilities:

The Staffing Supervisor is responsible for the oversite of the staffing coordinators and patient sitters. Other duties are updating patient care units’ staff schedules into the computer system. Obtains daily staffing from the patient care units at regular intervals throughout the shift. Coordinates staffing on a projected and shift by shift basis. Assigns staff to cover sick time with the approval of the respective Director/Manager. Performs minor secretarial and clerical duties with self-initiative; assumes coordination of projects for the Administrative Director of Nursing/CNO as delegated and appropriate. Tracks registry/contract labor maintains agency files and reviews all after-hour agency documentation; reconciles invoices. Management of scheduling and staffing module.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Bachelor’s degree Preferred.
2. Knowledge of medical terminology, typing skills, calculator and/or ten-key adding machine.
3. Word processing, spreadsheet experience required.
4. Experience in healthcare preferred, preferably in an acute care setting.
5. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $26.99 to $36.32. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
