Job Summary

• Client is seeking a Parts Crib Attendant for our 2nd shift Manufacturing Maintenance team in ­­­­Waukesha, WI! Typical work schedule is 2:30pm – 10:30pm; hours may vary based on needs of the business.
• Overtime on weekends may be required to meet critical business demand.
• The Parts Crib Attendant maintains, and orders needed materials promptly to ensure smooth workflow.
• Effectively communicates with the site management team and all customers to resolve systems/operations issues and promote efficient, positive working relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Keeps accurate records, including closing/printing PM work orders, and orders materials on a Min/Max ordering system, setting appropriate lead times on each item.
• Issues items to the shop floor, and reorders as necessary.
• Maintains professional and courteous customer relationships with client, vendor, and internal team.
• Ensures spare parts inventory is received, maintained, and distributed according to specified procedures.
• Keeps inventory and all related records organized and orderly for ease of retrieval.
• Prepares and audits spare parts requisitions for purchase.
• Keeps daily reporting current with status of spare parts.
• Controls access to the spare parts crib. Issues spare parts to technicians upon request.
• Prepares spare parts requisitions as required.
• Assigns work order numbers to spare parts requisitions.
• Maintains knowledge of spare parts used to support our maintenance team.
• Works with shippers for receiving and shipping of material Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.
• Operates a variety of equipment such as laptop computers to perform work.
• Maintains a strict schedule to be successful in the assignment yet demonstrates flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior warehouse, tool crib, or parts crib experience, MRO Cribs or Maintenance experience required.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
• This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
• This position may require overtime, various shifts, weekends, holidays, and alternative work schedules.

Physical / Special Requirements:

• Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders
• Requires the flexibility to stretch/reach, bend/stoop, squat, kneel, move in a 90-degree fashion repetitive for shift.
• Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
• Requires the ability to stand continuously for 4 hours at a time.
• Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.
• Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
• Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
• Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
• Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to an industrial facility environment.
• Experience with Material Handling Systems, Work Order / CMMS Systems, Hazardous Materials Systems, and/or crib systems.
• Experience operating forklifts, or willingness to be trained at facility.
• Technical certification or specialized training preferred.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
