Polar Field Services, Inc. is looking to hire a seasonal Utility Technician in Summit Station, Greenland. Are you an adventurous soul looking for a lucrative international position? This seasonal Utility Technician position earns a competitive wage of $1,900 - $2,364 a week. In addition, you can enroll in our Pro Deal Discount program and receive an hourly health and welfare benefit of $4.22/hour for the first 40 hours worked each week (included in the weekly rate listed.). We are a rare company. Since 1999, we've been taking our clients wherever they need to go, no matter how remote the location or challenging the conditions may be. We plan their expeditions, keep them safe in places that are anything but, and supply food, shelter, power, water, and waste removal. YOUR ADVENTURE AS A UTILITY TECHNICIAN
A competent leader, you occasionally direct the work of our helpers as well as utilize the assistance of other station personnel to make sure every task gets accomplished. Highly organized, you thoroughly document your hours worked, tasks performed, and materials used.
The climate may be frigid, but your drive to succeed is always burning, no matter what your surroundings throw at you! A team player, you always attend safety meetings and morning pre-task stretching sessions. You also readily assist your team with all aspects of camp support, including cooking, equipment operation, digging, and camp construction. No two days are the same, making your work exciting and rewarding. You love using your skilled trade expertise to make a difference for our important international mission!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A UTILITY TECHNICIAN
We're searching for an empathetic, courteous person with the following qualifications:

This seasonal skilled trade position works 9-hour days, 6 days per week and enjoys Sunday off. Additional hours will occasionally be needed. The schedule for our Utility Technicians varies based on location, weather conditions, and work requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A UTILITY TECHNICIAN
We're searching for an empathetic, courteous person with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of documented experience in facility utilities maintenance
- Demonstrated organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Experience with construction materials, tools and methods
- Familiarity with Health Safety & Environmental structure
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite package
- United States Passport
- Covid vaccination with current booster
- EPA Section 608 Technician Certification, NATE certification, NITC certification; HVAC Excellence
- ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC)certifications
- Previous accredited OSHA training courses
- Experience with commercial/industrial facility maintenance and construction
- Experience with low voltage controls and wiring
- Previous experience with remote, cold and/or polar experience
