JOB MAIN PURPOSE:
A scientific expert who facilitate the medical activities, to both internal and external in Vietnam. This individual also supports the cluster medical lead in the oversight of internal governance and external communication materials.

YOUR KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Medical Execution:

• Facilitate the medical strategy under the guidance of cluster lead in providing the scientific advice into therapeutic and brand strategies. Ensures the implementation of the agreed strategy by executing the agreed plans.
• Partnering in understanding current and emerging science for relevant categories/brands, including respective treatment, prevention and other self-care measures. Be the internal expert within Consumer Health Vietnam in the sciences of our products, competitive product information and major development or studies in the related field
• Involve in reviewing scientific and medical communication including material development, publications etc.
• Develops and build local healthcare professional ( HCPs) Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for Bayer Consumer Health products . This includes continuous engagement with HCP; strengthening HCPs advocacy and be able to translate insights to address local gaps and needs.
• Provide fair balanced, objective scientific information /education/ trainings to internal and external business partners as required by identified business needs.
• Responsible to drive the local medical event i.e., Advisory board, Expert Forum etc. under the guidance of Cluster Medical Lead.

2. MEDICAL GOVERNANCE and MEDICAL INFORMATION

• Responsible for medical governance and medical information within Vietnam including handling customer queries
• Responsible for setting and maintaining a culture of the highest ethical standards for any medical activity
• Follows global/ regional guidance in the use of standard responses, Question and Answer standards, compliance requirements.
• Ensures approval of advertising copy/promotional copy, create and approve public statements and internal statement from a medical perspective.

3. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT

• Ensures optimal cross-functional support at a local level. Ensures that this cross-functional support is maintained and enhanced at every opportunity.
• Responsible for ensuring that there is adequate support from within the medical department for promotional material collaboration and approval. Ensure provision of medical expertise and training to internal and external customers, medical staff, marketing and other commercial functions as required.
• Maintain and build relationships with Key opinion leaders (KOLs)
• Works in close collaboration with marketing, regulatory, sales and legal function

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

• Degree in pharmacy, medical science, or related area,
• 1-2 years medical working experience in the pharmaceutical / Healthcare industry
• Demonstrated ability to work in a medical capacity supporting business objectives with can-do attitude mindset
• Had experience collaborating / working with health care professionals.
• Good Interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively, in particular with business partners
• Overcome complexity inherent to the diverse areas of the combined business in a challenging multi-cultural environment
• Working knowledge of local regulatory requirements, Codes of Conduct for OTC Medicines and Health Supplements
• Skilled communicator, networking and maintenance of cooperative liaisons with internal and external customers in both English and Vietnamese
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple project and priorities
• Pro-active approach with focus on adding value to the business
