Customer Partner Manager (Sales Manager)

Job Purpose
The position holder will demonstrate accountability for managing the sales team in assigned segmentation and territory by developing the team through motivation, counseling, coaching skills, and product knowledge development
Tasks & Responsibility

1. Business Planning and administration management:
1.1) Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximising business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish
1.2) Plan and develop sales strategies and/or market penetration strategies and brand awareness to achieve approved individual revenue.
1.3) Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, and keep up with the market, specifically advising on realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans.

2. Territory management & Business development:
2.1) Take orders from customers and ensure that products are delivered on time
2.2) Establish & maintain close relationships with key accounts by ensuring company services meet their requirements
2.3) Enhance customer satisfaction by leveraging close communication and interaction with existing customer relationships, and address product complaints promptly.

2.4) Identify new business opportunities and analyze the marketing potential of new and existing customers, sales statistics, and expenditures to formulate policy
2.5) Make sure the tender process on the assigned territory with the result of maximizes the quota.
2.6) Resolve customer complaints regarding sales, service, and products by informing and cooperating with the Marketing and Pharmacovigilance Team in investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing
reports; making recommendations to management (if any)

3. People management:
3.1) Responsible for the recruitment, direction, and management of sales representatives to accomplish specific objectives
3.2) Provide high standards of ongoing training for the sales representatives so that they possess sufficient medical and technical knowledge to present information on the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner.
3.3) Set and monitor targets for each individual in the team to ensure high-performance management
3.4) Track the work plan of the team in Commercial tools (SFDC) that has been planned and implemented regularly
3.5) Implement the performance appraisal of sales representatives quarterly/annually and implement a performance improvement plan for team members if needed.
3.6) On-field coaching to the sales team regularly based on the work plan proposal

4. Others:
4.1) Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards, and that documented processes, procedures and internal quality management systems within the scope of function responsibility
4.2) Well update of product knowledge
4.3) Carry special work as assigned by Management

Qualification Requirement
1. Education:
Graduated from University, relevant major in Medicine & Pharmacy or Healthcare management, Good English is a plus
2. Working Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of related working experience or Master's degree with 3 years of related working experience
  • Having experience working as Medical is advantageous
  • At least 2 years experience in a team management role
  • Having tender management experience as an advantage
3. Skills:
  • Commercial and business acumen, solid experience in Sales management preferably with track records in the medical market
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of customer and market dynamics by monitoring, analysing, and evaluating market trends to develop growth/business strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients at all organizational levels
  • Good experience in management skills, including leading, motivating, coaching, and driving team & dealers to achieve established sales on a sustainable basis.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to succeed in a competitive market.
