The Head of Innovation and Research Partnerships will lead Kyanon Digital’s initiatives in driving research collaborations, building strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders, and coordinating internal efforts to foster innovative solutions. This role will be pivotal in managing fundamental research projects, enhancing the company’s brand as a leader in research and technology, and working with both internal teams and external partners to develop cutting-edge solutions that address real-world business challenges.

1. Coordinate and Manage Fundamental Research with Universities and Top Talents

• Establish and maintain partnerships with leading universities and research institutions.
• Identify and collaborate with top academic talents to lead fundamental research projects that align with Kyanon Digital’s strategic goals.
• Ensure research outputs contribute to both academic advancements and practical business applications.

• Organize and co-host key events such as the ML Club and Vietnam Datathon, fostering collaboration and talent discovery within the tech community.
• Engage in public speaking and strategic collaborations to increase visibility as a top destination for researchers and innovators.

3. Coordinate with Internal Teams and Company Partners to Deliver Innovative Solutions

• Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, data science, product) to ensure that research initiatives translate into real-world applications and innovative business solutions.
• Work with company partners to co-develop and integrate innovative solutions that leverage the latest research and technology trends.
• Oversee the identification and integration of top research talent into internal teams and partner projects, ensuring a seamless alignment of research expertise with business needs.

• Provide internal teams and partners with top-tier research talent to support the development of Proof of Concept (POC) projects and innovative solutions.

• Assess the potential of these opportunities for driving Kyanon Digital’s innovation agenda and recommend strategic engagement.

What You Should Have To Maximize Your Contribution

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (Ph.D. preferred) with strong experience in research and innovation management.
• Expertise in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or related technologies.
• Proven experience in managing academic and industry partnerships.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate research into actionable business strategies.
• Strong track record of organizing and leading high-impact innovation initiatives.
