Key Account Operation Manager

Are you an experienced professional in key account management with a passion for driving sustainable sales growth and profitability? As a part of our Vietnam Key Account team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing strategies to achieve significant market share and portfolio profitability within key pharmacy chain accounts.

Main responsibilities:
1. Lead Business Strategy:
- Own and deliver the key account sales target, market share target, and sales growth ambition.
- Ensure the profitability and sustainability of each account’s investment strategy in line with channel and shopper strategy.
- Develop new emerging accounts based on business potential.
2. Develop and Execute Account Plans:
- Collaborate across internal functions (brand team, shopper marketing team, finance team) to develop channel strategy, business growth models, trade schemes, co-marketing activities, and account standards.
- Lead top-to-top Joint Business Planning (JBP) discussions with key account customers to build strategic partnerships.
- Drive category management to ensure category leadership and initiate demand-generating activities.
- Coordinate with internal functions and key account operation team to drive robust execution and maximize business performance.
- Manage supply and demand planning for each account, ensuring healthy inventory levels and sales performance.
3. Manage Customer Contracts and KPIs:
- Lead customer contract negotiations and governance.
- Track customer performance with clear KPIs.
- Hold customers accountable for commercial policies, trading terms, and performance KPIs.
4. Build Key Account Management Capabilities:
- Develop key account management capabilities within the team and organization, contributing to the transformation of the sales organization into a fit-for-future consumer healthcare environment.
- Build a talent pipeline for future key account management positions.
- Act as the key contact point with zone/regional stakeholders and represent the Vietnam Key Account team in zone/regional forums.
About you
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of the consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with local market dynamics and key account management best practices.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
- Proven ability to think strategically and lead high-performance teams.
- Demonstrated success in influencing across a matrix environment with excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
