Maintenance Equipment Engineer

Conducting Failure Analysis, implement preventive maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement, all while contributing to the production of the world's most iconic toys.
This position is designed to be key person of the internal maintenance of LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam Packing’s production facility by coordinating the maintenance and co-ordination of maintenance of the production equipment, material flow and spare parts, support for systems linked to the operation of production lines.
The main challenges is to support the Operation, have high flexibility managing the demand, ensure the right capabilities of the team members, and maintain control of budget.

Core Responsibilities

Initiates and follow up the formal failure analysis for urgent MMS work orders, escalate to line manager in case of unresolved issues.
-
Forecast and strategic planning for equipment overhauls and PM, while take into account long-term maintenance cost.

Provide guidance and technical expertise to technicians on problem solving and preventive maintenance.

Drive the monthly PM effectiveness analysis to reduce the unplanned downtime.

Lead the reviews of equipment to maintain or increase the reliability of equipment ( increase MTBF), benchmark PM and CM setup of equipment ( Equipment spec, technical work guide, etc.).

Research and apply new technology to improve the equipment life cycle reliability.

Support NPI in driving new equipment technology upgrade and engineering changes by evaluating the right specification, local regulations, time and budget.

Provide expertise advice on new equipment spare parts management. Actively engage in spare parts technical specification evaluation and localization recommendation.

Lead and organize the training to improve local specialist team’s technical maturity ( e.g. Advanced maintenance skill training, TPM related technical training, etc. ).

Support MSG compliance implementation and feedback to NPI and EHS.

Actively communicate with subordinates and provide constructive feedback.

Do you have what it takes
-
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation or related majors
-
Strong experience in Equipment maintenance, Total Preventive Maintenance with minimum 3 years experience in plant machine maintenance or engineering.

Good at technical drawing like CAD/UG.
-
Understand structure of PLC software programming, have good knowledge about automation protocol, robotic platform.
-
Practice in active use of Lean/ Six Sigma tools.
-
Experience to lead pillars of TPM.
-
Experience with Project Management. Experience of improvement project.

Result oriented, team collaboration

Previous experience working for a multinational company that understands the value of working in a Diverse environment.
