Job purpose: This role is essential in ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time and in the correct quantities to meet production demands. The Material Planner works closely with various departments, including production, procurement, quality, and logistics, to forecast needs and schedule deliveries, thereby minimizing production downtime and optimizing efficiency.

I. Job responsibilities:
1. Material Planner for HD and Medical factory

• Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders

2. Take responsible for oversea and local vendors to managing purchase orders, delivery to ensure availability of components for production

• Control open PO list with delivery schedule from supplier.
• Follow up with the delivery from supplier to ensure the goods are delivery on time
• Daily tracking shipment status and update in SAP

3. Handling complaints on non-conformity goods delivered by vendors

• Send complaints to vendor for non-conformity goods.
• Follow up to settle the whole claim process.

4. Material Inventory management

• Daily review stock of material, take actions to ensure at the target level.

5. Data base update and management in system

• Download data, update report following required timeline
• Update master data in SAP

Other tasks to be assigned by team leader/line managers. Participate in improvement project activities of departments

II. Requirements

• Education background: Supply Chain Management, Economic/Bussiness Administration, Business analyst,...

• Have at least 1 year experience in material management, operative purchasing in manufacturing company

• Fluent in English (both speaking and writing).

• Reporting skill. Good Excel skill. Advantages if being able to use power BI, power querry, SAP
