Position: Test Automation Analyst
Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Duration: 6 months (extendable)
Salary Range: up to $2,200 NET
Job Scope: Take on a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the core banking system for one of Vietnam's largest banks. This role focuses on developing and maintaining automated test scripts using the Karate testing framework for efficient API and functional testing. You will work closely with developers, testers, and business analysts to verify that the system meets all functional and non-functional requirements.

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate framework for API and integration testing.
• Partner with development and QA teams to ensure thorough test coverage for both new and existing features.
• Review business and functional requirements to design test scenarios and convert them into automated scripts.
• Conduct regression testing and align the automation testing processes with the continuous integration pipeline.
• Analyze test results, log defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare detailed test reports and metrics to monitor testing progress.
• Support testing activities for system integrations, migrations, and updates.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Required Skillset:

• Role: Analyst or similar.
• Required Experience: 3-7 years of strong experience in test automation, particularly with Karate, API testing, and BDD.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in test automation using the Karate framework.
• Solid knowledge of BDD, API testing, RESTful services, and web services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab).
