The Facilities Engineer Water Management & Pipelines Lead position reports to the Argentina FE Manager and supports water strategy management and FE pipelines Planning and Design for Unconventional Development in the El Trapial field. The position as water management owner requires ability to interface simultaneously with many cross functional technical development groups and FE teams, as well as being able to communicate effectively to multiple levels of an organization. Familiarity and demonstrated usage of the Influencer model and We Lead behaviors. Proven experience in leading, working and communicating effectively within a multi-functional, multi-discipline team environment, with language capabilities to keep interface with other BU´s water management processes owners, NOJV’s, other operators, and technological departments in CTC. Regarding Pipelines must have proficiencies and clear understanding of piping engineering including piping hydraulic simulation, sizing calculations for pipelines and fluency with applying appropriate Chevron and industry codes and standards (e.g. Chevron Engineering Standards, Chevron Argentina Piping Class including ASMEB31.3, B31.4, B31.8 among other) and other Chevron processes (PHA, MOC, etc.).

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Manage water strategy and interface with C&D for business planning.
Piping interconnecting capacity and planning for future facilities to understand capacities and bottlenecks.
Work with C&D Lead on Playbooks update.
Work closely with cost management specialists to deliver a competitive strategy for the field development in water management.
Benchmarking activities for water gathering and disposition.
Networking with STAC group contacting Water Management leaders from other BU’s.
Project management for water facilities and pipelines scopes.
Technology focal point for interface management with other disciplines inside Chevron Argentina, local operators, and other BU’s.
Technical representative from the company in water management, supporting HSE group in front of the Province Application Authorities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor´s engineering degree with 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas and exposition to Water Facilities and Piping.
Strong exposition on projects management and good understanding of CES.
Familiar with shale and tight factory process
Language skills in English for assuring proper communication with stakeholders and Chevron Co P´s.
Communication skills, and ability and exposition leading cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experiences leading FE projects.
Budget formulation planning
Water treatment technologies
Familiar with planning tools

Special Considerations:

Position is based in Buenos Aires Chevron Offices in CEL (Centro Empresarial Libertador) in a hybrid home office model as defined by upper management. Frequent travel to El Trapial field may be required.

Relocation Options:
Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.

International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
