Accounts Payable Analyst

This role will perform the complete Accounts Payable function for ANZ with a reporting to the Senior Finance Manager
This role is based in Warriewood and will be a temporary cover for 3 months.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage and pay invoices, monthly account reconciliation of the payables ledger, GRNI account, logged vouchers and flexi Purchase accounts for ANZ, credit card and cash expenses administration and vendor maintenance.
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software (ABBYY) Super User – Go to person for the AP team and IT for all issues relating to ABBYY. Liaise with IT to ensure all issues relating to the ABBYY system are dealt with ASAP to ensure the continued flow of invoices.
- Log invoices received by Accounts Payable into the company OCR software ABBYY and distribute through JDE paperless workflow system to required coders and approvers.
- Check the pay runs ensuring invoices are coded, appropriately approved and entered into the accounts payable ledger for assigned suppliers (including International)
- Credit card administration is conducted in accordance with Corporate policy. Set-up new employees & manage changes of employees details in the flexipurchase system

Who are you?
- Prior work experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and in a paperless AP workflow system
- Prior knowledge and work experience of using Business System applications (JDE & SAP), Credit Card Management System (Flexipurchase).
- Possess an eye for detail and ability to deal with large volumes of processing work, data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Excel. Possess relevant knowledge and experience in GST, FBT administration & compliance.
