As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant, you will apply your clinical reasoning skills to support ADF personnel who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury. take a more holistic care approach & work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
utilise clinical reasoning skills and expertise to support people who have suffered from a diverse range of injuries, illnesses or trauma.
work with motivated clients to develop, implement, and monitor their rehabilitation plans whilst having onsite access to medical and treatment providers (Doctors, Physio’s, Psychologist, etc.) for additional direct support

Working from the RAAF Base in East Sale, the set working hours means you can truly have WORK / LIFE balance – no overtime, no outside of work hours work. Enjoy early starts (7.30am) and early finishes (3.30pm), 3 x days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).
Joining a high-quality service provider, you will be SUPPORTED and MENTORED through direct interaction and an extensive onboarding process (incl. ongoing shadowing) to build your technical knowledge and expertise, setting you up for success.

What will make you successful:

Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, AASW)
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Social Work or Osteopathy
Strong clinical reasoning
Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
Passion to help people rehabilitate
12 months occupational rehabilitation experience
Australian Citizenship
