About Baptist Care The Gracewood Centre
Designed with a people-first approach, Gracewood Centre is a new aged care centre located in the heart of the Hills District.
The Gracewood Centre is a modern aged care home conveniently located within the heart of the Hills district. The home features quiet and secure garden areas and covered terraces, a chapel space, on-site hair salon, a café serving fresh meals and coffee and a private function room.

Your Role | Receptionist
As a Receptionist at Baptist Care The Gracewood Centre, you'll be the first point of contact for our residents, families, and visitors. Your friendly and professional demeanor will contribute to the warm and welcoming environment of our center. You will handle phone inquiries, greet visitors, and assist with various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming residents, families, and visitors.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Assist with general office administration tasks, including handling mail, maintaining office supplies, and scheduling appointments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Support the team in organizing events and activities within the facility.
  • Manage accounting tasks such as processing invoices, managing petty cash, or overseeing Resident Trust Accounts.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in aged care or healthcare.
  • Experience in accounts administration highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
