- Provide administrative support services, including word processing, collation of reports, file management, photocopying, indexing and distribution ofcorrespondence.- Undertake evidence preparation duties, including the collation and packaging of lawfully intercepted information, covert recordings, and the formal dissemination of material to client groups.- Undertake transcription and data entry related duties with accuracy and proficiency.- Fulfil requests for service as required under the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979 and the Telecommunications Interception Act2009 (Qld).- Assist in the preparation of reports and statistical returns for stakeholders.- Liaise and consult with case officers and investigators throughout the State regarding requests for service, transcription, and evidentiary material in accordance with the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979.- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity at all times and actively contribute towards the physical security of TIU premises and equipment, intercepted data, warrant information and operational methodologies.
Mandatory - The successful applicant will be required to undergo a hearing test and psychometric assessment prior to appointment, if successful, there may be a requirement to undergo regular hearing and psychometric assessments.
A recent keyboard skills certificate indicating a minimum speed of 40 words per minute with 98% accuracy must be provided with your application.
Other - Applicants are advised that, whilst performing the duties of the position, they may be exposed to material (written, visual and audio) of a graphic and sensitive nature that may include sexually explicit content.
The successful applicant may be required to work at various locations within Brisbane in which the Operations Support Command conducts business.
