About the role

• This position is required to work across the Audiology department within the area of Allied Health Services ensuring a high level of patient focused customer service is provided. The position is also required to work within a multidisciplinary team and provide administrative support to clinicians as required.
• At times the role may be required to work across all areas of Allied Health Services ensuring a high level of patient focused customer service is provided.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Advanced skills in the use of information technology to facilitate a high level of data quality. Systems include Enterprise Scheduling Management (ESM), Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), Smart Referrals Workflow Solution (SRWS), and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Accurately processes referrals, schedules patient appointments, rescheduling and confirming as necessary and manages pending appointments, expired appointments for patients with a focus of Audiology using ESM, ensuring alignment with the Specialist Outpatients Implementation Standards (SOSIS).
• Manage workload appropriately; prioritising tasks, ensuring work is completed within designated timeframes.
• Provide a high level of administrative support within a multidisciplinary team ensuring business needs are met to a high standard.
• Exercise judgment and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
