Administrative Support Officer

- Provide accurate and timely general clerical assistance to staff and management within the Investigations Division, including data entry, scanning, photocopying, filing, and collating of information in relation to the outcome of criminal or coronial proceedings.
- Assist Investigation Officers with the collation and photocopying of investigation documents, reports, and external correspondence, for preparation of legal proceedings.
- Assist Investigation Officers with the monitoring and reporting of external referral matters in line with legislative requirements and sending correspondence on their behalf by using the most appropriate process.
- Provide timely and accurate word processing and data entry in the OHO case management database (Resolve) and ensure effective management of electronic and operational equipment and associated register for the division such as audio/video recorders, laptops etc.
- Assist with data collection and reporting processes for the Investigations Division and provide general administrative and records management support including the creation of case management files, scanning, recording keeping, and archiving.
- Undertake written transcription of recorded interviews conducted by Investigation Officers within the Division.
- Applications will remain current for a period of up to 12 months and may be considered for other vacancies (identical or similar).
- Appointments are subject to criminal history checks in accordance with section 52 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
- Prior to appointment, current and previous public sector employees are required to disclose any history of serious disciplinary action in accordance with section 71 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
- All employees are required to disclose any interest/s that conflict, may conflict or may be perceived to conflict with the discharge of their duties in accordance with section 182 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
