Assistant Venue Manager - Garden Kitchen & Bar

As an Assistant Venue Manager for Garden Kitchen & Bar, you are a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who is an expert within leading a hospitality venue. In this role you will assist with the day–to-day operation of the venue providing effective management of a dynamic team.
Garden Kitchen & Bar is the place to be on the Gold Coast, delivering a contemporary dining experience with a focus on fresh ingredients and a menu that blends modern flavours with live entertainment.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your food and beverage management and customer service skills throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of guest focus in all services, ensuring that guest service delivery is effective and efficient
- Oversee operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance management
- Assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of service standards and standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act
- Assist with the selection, training and development of the team to ensure timely recruitment and career growth opportunities
- Previous leadership experience in a similar role
- A passion and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and leading operational teams to deliver great guest experiences
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and team members
- Highly organised, accountable, and eager, with a high attention to detail
- Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol – RMLV/Approved Manager an advantage
