- $41.85 per hour incl loading + superannuation
Eagle Point is a small town located right next to the beautiful Gippsland Lakes and consists of many serene, sheltered swimming areas, amazing trails for walking and the entryway to the unique, amazing Silt Jetties, the longest of its kind! Just a 5-minute drive from Paynesville, the Foreshore Hub is situated on the Lake King foreshore, with the build finishing in late 2023, this modern facility is situated in one of the best places to live and work!
The Opportunity
As the Café Team Leader, you’ll provide fantastic customer service to locals and holidaymakers, while leading our café team. Working in our café, you will be responsible for ensuring visitors receive a warm welcome and are presented with variety of food choices. You will prepare, display and serve food and beverages, manage stock including ordering and restocking, daily reconciliations and rostering.
The Cafe is open 9am to 2pm daily.
Things You’re Proud Of (Key Selection Criteria)
- Demonstrated experience in hospitality management and café/restaurant operations.
- Understanding of food safety standards and the compliance requirements associated with a café operation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Cash handling skills and the ability to prepare financial reconciliation.
- Demonstrated experience in stock ordering and inventory control.

Hold or possess the ability to gain a current Safe Food Handling, Food Safety Supervisor and Level 2 First Aid certificateIf successful, you will need to undertake a police check and hold a current Working With Children Check. You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
