The Opportunity


As a Sweeper Operator, you will

• Clean and maintain Council’s kerb and channel, footpath, road and drainage network.
• Schedule works to keep downtime to a minimum
• Perform general labouring tasks

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity based from the Kalimna West Depot, with 4am start times.


Things You’re Proud Of (Key Selection Criteria)

• Demonstrated relevant industry experience.
• Experience operating road suction sweepers highly desirable
• Experience with relevant tools and equipment essential
• Well established ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work with little or no supervision.
• To be physically able to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and at various locations as required.
• A current, valid Victorian driver’s license. “MR” Truck as a minimum

If successful, you will need to undertake a police check and a pre-employment medical check. You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
