Position Description: Join our team at Noble Falls Tavern as a Chef. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing kitchen operations, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design menus estimate food and labor costs, and manage the ordering of supplies while keeping costs in line with the budget.
• Supervise all stages of food preparation, ensuring that each dish meets the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation
• Liaise with managerial staff, dietitians, and the service team to resolve issues related to food preparation.
• Provide hands-on training to kitchen staff and guide them in refining their cooking techniques and maintaining kitchen efficiency.
• Execute the preparation and cooking of food with high proficiency.
• Maintain strict adherence to food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Opportunity to participate in the selection and training of kitchen staff.
• Oversee proper storage and preservation methods for food ingredients, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.

Skills and Experience Required:
· Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent), with a Diploma in Hospitality Management preferred.
· At least 1 years of experience working as a chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
· Demonstrated ability to develop creative menus while managing food costs effectively.
· Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
· Experience in training, supervising, and managing kitchen staff to deliver high-quality service.
· Willingness to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Ability to handle kitchen challenges efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
· High attention to detail, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and overall food quality.
