The Grovedale Hotel is looking for experienced Chef de Partie who will be required to perform general or specialised cooking, butchering, baking or pastry cooking duties and/or supervise and trains other cooks and kitchen employees.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
· Is required to perform general or specialised cooking, butchering, baking or pastry cooking duties and/or supervise and trains other cooks and kitchen employees
· To manage the development of apprentice cooks
· Performing specialized cooking duties
· Maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation
· Following kitchen standard operating procedures
· Supervising of cooks of a lower grade
· Training cooks of a lower grade
· Ensure staff are performing to standard operating procedures and if not, escalate to the responsible manager
· To actively provide suggestions to the responsible manager
· To follow company Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times
· To report any unsafe practices or situations to the manager on duty immediately
· To adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.
About You

• You have a culinary qualification of Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma in Hospitality mm
• You have 2+ years experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Experience supervising staff
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced environment
• Is punctual and able to follow instructions
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Can communicate clearly
• Shares a passion for the hospitality industry

Remuneration:
Annual salary range on offer: $73,000 to $80,000 per year plus super
