Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at Coffee Club Werribee, VIC. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and cook a range of delicious meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
· Ensure all dishes are presented to a high standard.
· Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
· Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items.
· Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
· Provide excellent customer service to our guests.
· Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs.
· Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
· Discussing food preparation issues with managers, dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff.
· Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures.
· Preparing and cooking food.
· Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations.
· Freezing and preserving foods.
Requirements
· Diploma level qualification in Hospitality Management.
· At least one year of experience as a Chef.
· Extensive experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
· A passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards.
