The role
Crown Sydney offers a range of premium services that ensure a luxurious experience for visitors. As part of our hotel guest offering, our In-Room dining service is second to none, with a generous range of creative and delectable menu items to choose from. We are looking for a full-time Chef de Partie with 24/7 availability. In this role, you will directly support the management team in implementing, developing, and upholding operational procedures, standards, and goals. You will oversee a kitchen section to ensure smooth operations. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Assist Senior Chefs in daily food preparation and service, ensuring the maintenance of high and consistent food standards.
• Set a leading example and inspire a team of kitchen professionals.
• Collaborate effectively within a team in a face-paced environment.
• Contribute to achieving daily financial targets.
• Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP

About you

• Skilled in a mix of different cuisines with Wok experience advantageous.
• Experience in upscale dining or hotel establishments.
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Capability to follow instructions and adapt to competing demands.
• Self-motivated and adaptable
• Relevant hospitality qualification in Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent
