Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Superannuation

The Role:
We are seeking a creative and skilled Chef to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting delicious and visually appealing Indian dishes that meet our high standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about Indian cuisine and eager to thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Collaborate with management to create and update our menu, focusing on authentic flavors and seasonal ingredients.
- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare a wide range of Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen activities, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet our high standards for quality and presentation.
- Cost Control: Monitor food costs and manage portion control to maintain profitability while upholding food quality.
- Customer Service: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction with food quality and timely service.
- Qualifications: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a Chef, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and spices; experience in managing kitchen operations.
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia.
