This role offers the opportunity to shape the cybersecurity strategy for NSW Treasury, ensuring that critical information assets and technologies are protected. As a leader, you'll drive innovation and build a culture of risk management and cyber resilience, aligning with recognised standards and frameworks. You'll have a key role in enhancing the organisation's capabilities in risk mitigation and recovery, while ensuring IT governance meets legal and audit requirements. How will you create a positive impact?
This role strengthens NSW Treasury’s resilience against cyber threats by leading robust security strategies, risk management, and compliance. It ensures the protection of critical systems and data, safeguarding public trust and supporting the secure delivery of essential state services.
- Develop and implement robust cyber security strategies to protect Treasury’s systems and data.
- Ensure compliance with NSW Cyber Security Policy to safeguard sensitive information.
- Oversee incident response and risk management to maintain secure and uninterrupted state services.
- Protect public trust by enhancing resilience against cyber threats.
- Contribute to the secure acquisition of IT products and systems, ensuring compliance and effective vendor evaluation.
- Support cluster agencies with strategic advice and cyber security maturity assessments.
- Ensure the safety and integrity of NSW’s financial infrastructure, benefiting the community.

Eligibility
