About the role
Cairns Wellbeing Centre is a unique accommodation centre providing a welcome home away from home for patients and their carers, who travel from some of the most remote parts of Far North Queensland to receive medical treatment in Cairns.
In this position you will undertake cleaning duties in guest rooms and public areas to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
What you will bring

• Ability to effectively conduct cleaning duties
• Sound communication, time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high performing team
• Demonstrated competency and understanding in Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures, including storage and use of chemicals
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holidays as required
• Experience in hospitality/hotel environment is highly desirable

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 1. Hourly rate from $25.42 per hour + casual loading + superannuation + salary packaging.
