Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Wollongong office: Client Relations Officer.

We have an exciting full-time opportunity available to join our driven and outgoing Fund Operations team as a Client Relations Officer.

Working with the Account Manager, the Client Relations Officer will act as a credible and professional point of contact to clients by providing timely and professional responses to queries, escalated matters, and requests for information.

We will count on you to:

• Utilise your strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with relevant client stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed formal reports in a timely manner and informal reports as required in line with stakeholder expectations.
• Resolve issues and respond to requests from internal stakeholders and the client.
• Be a conduit and facilitation point for internal Mercer escalations that require client consideration or decisions.

What you need to have:

• Good analytical skills.
• Well-developed stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work independently and self-directed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What makes you stand out?

• Skills in the use of Excel, particularly using formulas and v-lookups.
• Previous experience working in the superannuation, insurance or banking sector would be beneficial.
