Content Coordinator (HEO 7) in the Market & Partner Engagement Domain

About the role

We are seeking a Content Coordinator to contribute to one of the largest changes to higher education in Australia over the past 30 years and help shape the new Adelaide University. You will be based in the Integration Management Office (IMO) in the Market & Partner Engagement (M&PE) Domain.

As the Content Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the scoping, development, and successful delivery of marketing and communications content related to the creation of the new Adelaide University. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams both within The University of South Australia (Uni SA) and The University of Adelaide (Uo A), developing and executing content assets relating to the communication of Adelaide University with a key focus on New Student Readiness 2025 deliverables.

Core Responsibilities


  • Act as the first point of contact for the Content team for triage and review of developed content assets.
  • Coordinate the development of new and revised content to ensure the delivery of key assets, e.g. print publications, presentation slides, etc.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and working groups to define content and channel scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Review and edit developed content assets to ensure they are accurate and on brand, providing advice and feedback to design and content production staff to support the successful delivery of marketing and communications content.
  • Provide advice and guidance on content management and storage of assets, including imagery and photography, that supports the development of creative assets.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications together with extensive experience in marketing, communications, professional writing, graphic or visual communication design or a related discipline and/or experience in a comparable role in a complex organisation.
  • Highly developed organisational and project management skills and experience to set and manage multiple priorities and dependent tasks within tight timelines, with conflicting demands, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in leading and motivating design and content production staff, ensuring their output is efficient and accurate.
  • Demonstrated experience in project and workflow management of creative, design and content production for a variety of channels and formats, using appropriate task management tools and software to manage output.
  • Proven ability to direct others while maintaining a collaborative work environment, including high-level negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
