As a Customer Service Officer at Fiona Stanley Hospital, you will be the first point of contact for patients, staff, and visitors, providing essential support through phone and email communications. You’ll manage and resolve a variety of requests with accuracy and empathy, contributing to a positive hospital experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure, especially during emergency situations.
As a Customer Service Officer in the Helpdesk and Communications team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Handling and actioning service requests with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Responding to hospital emergencies in a prompt and efficient manner
- Maintaining accurate records of interactions and following policies for data management
- Collaborating with hospital staff and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Building strong relationships with patients, staff, and external stakeholders
You are customer-focused and thrive in environments where you can make a difference. You enjoy problem-solving and are able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Your calm and professional approach to communication helps create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Strong customer service skills, with experience in a customer-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- High attention to detail and the ability to stay composed in emergency situations
- Experience in healthcare or a call centre environment is an advantage
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data management systems
