Customer Service Officer

- Provide a high-quality customer service to all Queensland Health payroll system and business users including user access administration
- Perform initial assessment of support requirements to determine priority and escalation requirements to ensure that timely responses to issues are provided.
- Log all issues and requests in an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) compliant tracking system and assist with workflow and closure of requests.
- Complete accurate reports detailing volume and category of support requests or activities.
- Participate in the evaluation of payroll system wide activities, including analysis of problems, undertaking the elements of any necessary responsive plan.
- Provide accurate advice, take personal responsibility for accurate completion of work and seek assistance when required.
- Participate in the delivery of business outcomes, meeting performance targets and building client satisfaction with payroll portfolio services.
- There may be a requirement to work out of hours, weekends and public holidays to ensure the successful delivery of the Queensland Health enterprise solutions.
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following-
- Ability to take high volumes of inbound enquiries via multiple pathways (phone, email etc) in a customer service or help desk environment
- Knowledge or understanding of payroll and rostering systems processes and procedures
- Interpersonal communication skills with all levels of staff in a large organisation, particularly including the capacity to summarise complex information and gather detailed information.
- Ability to work within a team environment and to meet regular established deadlines within designated timeframes to ensure team outcomes are achieved
- Understanding of, and commitment to, quality customer services in a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
While not mandatory, relevant experience with ITIL or similar IT service management would be well regarded.
