What is the opportunity?

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and resolute Cyber Security Mentor for our online students. The ideal candidate will have experience in cybersecurity, a passion for mentoring, and the ability to support students in their educational journey. As a mentor, you will be an integral part of our success, championing our students' progression and success.

What will you do?

• Develop and nurture relationships with students globally, offering guidance and support throughout their educational journey.

• Provide mentorship in cybersecurity, helping students navigate course resources, and real-world applications.

• Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

• Foster a positive and engaging online learning environment that encourages student participation and success.

• Participate in the development of course resources and updates.

Who are you?

• Minimum of three years of experience as an information security professional.

• Strong practical grasp of cybersecurity principles.

• Preferably possess cybersecurity credentials like Cy SA+, CCSP, Comp TIA A+, Network+, Security+.

• Experience in delivering content, coaching, or mentoring in an educational setting is highly valued.

• Prepared to actively interact with students to keep them motivated and engaged.

• Recognises different learning methods and personality types; adept at motivating and challenging a wide spectrum of people.

• Demonstrates a desire for knowledge, staying abreast of news, data, and important industry developments.

• Has effective communication and people skills to effectively connect with students and colleagues.

• Shows commitment to continuous professional development and the pursuit of excellence in the field of cybersecurity.
