What you'll be doing
The Eurobodalla Development Project Officer is responsible for supporting the Project Director in project deliverables and the procurement of FFE and ME (Major) throughout the project life cycle. The role assists in the development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the procurement stream of the FFE and ME (Major), to achieve project outcomes, and support achievement of organisational objectives for the Eurobodalla Development Projects.
Selection Criteria
- Relevant qualification in construction/health field or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and contracts in a relevant area such as Furniture, Fittings and Equipment or Major Medical Equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise and interpret building design documentation and architectural layouts.
- Awareness of Health Infrastructures approach to managing capital works projects, with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks.
- Knowledge of establishing and managing documentation and associated processes related to major projects and FFE ME (Major) management.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate engagement strategies to inform FFE ME (Major) requirements and procurement selection.
- Experience or understanding of the requirements of the commissioning phase of a new facility in relation to FFE ME Major and the integration of ICT elements.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships through professionalism, effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project outcomes are achieved and relationships are maintained.
