About the Role
The Director of GGM, working with the Clinical Director of General Medicine and the Clinical Director of Geriatric Medicine, takes responsibility for clinical quality and culture by fostering a collaborative environment among healthcare professionals in the departments of General Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. The Director of GGM ensures high standards of patient care at Princess Alexandra Hospital in the Division of Medicine (DOM). In addition, the Director contributes to these same outcomes across the whole of DOM and the hospital.
Your key responsibilities

• This role reports to the Medical Director, Division of Medicine.
• This position fulfils accountabilities and responsibilities in accordance with Metro South's purpose and objectives.
• Foster a culture of interprofessional collaboration and leadership through understanding the role and the roles of others in the interprofessional team leveraging this knowledge to establish and meet client goals and inform service direction.
