Job Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are clean and ready for use. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our kitchen and the overall success of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
Washing and Sanitising:
Clean and sanitise dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
Ensure all kitchen items are thoroughly washed, rinsed, and sanitised following health and safety guidelines.
Kitchen Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dishwashing area.
Ensure all garbage and recycling are disposed of promptly and correctly.
Clean and sanitise kitchen floors, walls, and work surfaces as needed.
Equipment Handling:
Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment.
Inventory and Supplies:
Monitor and report inventory levels of dishwashing detergents and other cleaning supplies.
Restock items as needed to ensure continuous operation.
Team Collaboration:
Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks during peak times, as required.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $42,760.00 – $70,857.30 per year
