About the role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with current industry knowledge and experience in Nursing and / or Aged Care, to join our Orange team in the part time, temporary role of Education Support Officer (ESO).
Working within a team of industry professionals, the ESO is supervised by the Head Teacher and responsible for a range of activities which support learners and enhances the student learning experience.
Note : This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment. This role includes working through TAFE vacation breaks.
About You
We are looking for motivated and engaged individuals who have the ability to meet the following selection criteria:
- Diploma / Bachelor of Nursing
- Demonstrated experience in Nursing Industry (two years plus, gained in the last five years)
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining technical currency
- Ability to understand relevant learning materials and assessment processes
- Commitment and ability to support and motivate students in an adult learning environment
- Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies, including MS Office suite (advanced level desirable)
