ERP Project Director

Reporting into the Chief Transformation Officer, the ERP Project Director will oversee the comprehensive transformation of our ERP landscape, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with our strategic goals. This role requires extensive experience in managing large-scale enterprise wide SAP ERP implementations within the consumer goods or life sciences sectors.
The ERP Project Director will work closely with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to deliver a successful ERP transformation that enhances operational excellence, delivers on our goals for sustainability, compliance with industry regulations and supports the growth of Blackmores across our markets.
You will lead a dedicated, high-performing, future focused project team. We are looking to hire someone as an employee on a multi-year, fixed-term contract. Preferably based in Sydney, you have the flexibility to work from one of our two offices; Surry Hills or Warriewood.
Responsibilities include:
- Define, lead and champion the overall ERP program vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with transformation objectives
- Ensure the ERP strategy supports long-term business goals, focusing on innovation, efficiency enhancement and regulatory compliance
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of all ERP project phases, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule and quality standards
- Develop and manage the overall ERP project budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets and maximising return on investment
- Establish and maintain robust project governance structures aligned to our Enterprise Transformation Office principles and frameworks, including steering committees, project boards, risk management and change control processes
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across Blackmores as well as managing external vendors and partners
- Facilitate decision-making at all levels through transparent governance processes
- A Project Director with significant and proven experience in successfully leading large-scale SAP ERP implementations, ideally within the consumer health or life sciences industry.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP solutions including S/4HANA and related technologies
- Experience leading enterprise wide ERP implementations in a multi-market environment
- Ability to leverage SAP capabilities to drive business value and innovation
- Deep understanding of business processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance challenges specific to consumer health / life sciences sector
- Demonstrated success in managing program budgets, experience in business case preparation, financial analysis, cost control and realising benefits from ERP projects
- Proven track record in delivering projects on time, within budget and with high quality
- An inspirational leader who sets clear accountabilities, inspires other to action and leads a multi-tiered and cross functional project team to deliver business change
- Demonstrate a passion for innovation and business transformation, resilient, adaptable, collaborative and focuses on building meaningful relationships.
