We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Executive Assistant/Administrator to work in our Administration Team and provide comprehensive support to the General Manager and Senior Management Team at Mount Gambier Prison. You will be a key point of contact, managing information flow and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
In this role you will:
G4S has operated Mount Gambier Prison (MGP) since 1995. As a low to medium security campus-style prison, MGP provides various work and education programs to male prisoners, aiming to rehabilitate offenders and reduce re-offending. Accommodating 653 prisoners, our team at Mount Gambier Prison delivers safety, security, and respect for all prisoners in custody. - $60,000 p.a. + 11.5% Super ($67k package approx.)

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Executive Assistant/Administrator to work in our Administration Team and provide comprehensive support to the General Manager and Senior Management Team at Mount Gambier Prison. You will be a key point of contact, managing information flow and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
In this role you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for the General Manager, managing and prioritising requests, and ensuring efficient use of their time.
- Prepare and review high-quality communications on behalf of the General Manager.
- Conduct research and analysis to provide the Senior Management Team with information for decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Team on various projects, including correspondence, budget estimates, and reports.
- Maintain accurate records and management systems.
- Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, filing, and photocopying.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated administrative experience and computer literacy.
- A valid Driver's Licence.
- Experience within corrections or justice (desirable).
