The Role
We are looking for an outstanding Executive Sous Chef who has experience working in a busy kitchen environment while delivering high quality food, service and have a genuine passion for food. This exciting role will see you overlooking all facets of our events business. You will be working within an energetic, friendly environment, with a supportive Executive Chef and team. In this role you will also assist in crafting bespoke menus, managing menu cost analysis, rostering, and orchestrating the seamless execution of events. If you are looking for your next step up, in a large exciting culinary operation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
You
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a professional kitchen - fine dining and/or events catering experience essential
- Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and managing kitchen teams to ensure smooth service and staff development.
- Ability to produce high quality food, use fresh produce and be creative
- Must have Qualifications or equivalent trade experience
- HACCP and sound Food Safety knowledge
- Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
- Willing attitude, clear communication, and customer service skills
- You will be reliable, dedicated, and willing to continue learning
- Adaptability & Flexibility - able to work across a flexible roster - weekends, mornings & evenings
