Key Duties and Responsibilities -
The Executive Officer Key Responsibilities are: - Develop, maintain and improve administrative and executive systems thatsupport the Deputy Director-General in a fast-paced and highly sensitive working environment, including the management of the Deputy Director-General's inbox and diary as well as overseeing the organisation of meetings, conferences and events.- Display exemplary relationship management with departmental staff, departmental executives, other Offices of the Deputy Directors-General, key external stakeholders and other team members to ensure effective integration, coordination and liaison occurs.- Provide timely coordination, advisory and quality control services on the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, papers, correspondence, confidential briefs and associated activities involving the Deputy Director-General.- Identify and effectively manage and resolve risks and issues.- Contribute at a high-level to a culture of client service, excellence and continuous improvement.- Assist the Deputy Director-General and Manager, Office of the Deputy Director General with project work, which may include preparation for Estimates and other related events, as needed.
