Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: This role holder works 4 days/week (7.6 hours per day). This role holder works 43 weeks/year. Working weeks that fall outside of school terms can be negotiated.

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 5(School Salary Scale)/(Services Salary Scale)

Sts Peter & Pauls is a Catholic Primary School located at 33 Alexandra Street, Bulimba. Student enrolment is approximately 630 students. The Finance Officer assists the School Leadership Team with a wide variety of financial and administrative functions to support the financial operations of the school. Under the direction of the Principal, this position coordinates financial administration activities and provides support to ensure the school delivers on key reporting deadlines. This is a diverse role where you will have the platform to showcase your financial knowledge and organisational skills. You will work closely with Support Accountants, School Leadership Administration Team, Staff, Parents and Suppliers.

About you
To succeed in this role you will demonstrate:

Initiative and attention to detail
Effective communication dealing with various stakeholders
Highly organised
Sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
BCE finance system - Microsoft Dynamics D365 - experience advantageous but not essential

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
