Swissôtel Sydney, part of Accor’s Premium brands, have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to join our Finance team.
Job Description
The Role
- Ensure that trading terms of all the suppliers are respected by the hotel, and payments are processed accurately and timely.
- Monitor financial systems including Sun & Purchase Plus for the Hotel with a view to improve and streamline procedures.
- Assist with the accurate and timely payment of creditor accounts
- Assist with the weekly payroll for the Hotel in accordance with the payroll procedure.
Qualifications
About You
- Qualification in Accounting or Finance and/or previous experience in a hotel environment will be viewed favourably
- Strong communication skills and outstanding eye for detail
- Proficient computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
- Knowledge and efficiency in Purchase Plus and Sun Systems are advantageous
- Full Time work right in Australia
- Able to work onsite 5 days/week
Additional Information
Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with Purchase Plus and Sun Systems are not mandatory but will be advantageous
